I was wondering the same thing. I just hit enter at the screen lock.

I must open another console and kill the screenlock process. Also I cannot find any configuration applet for the screenlock...

yer had the same thing. Its not too bad if you are on persistant, just go into the settings and change the pass to tor or somthing.

disable the hibernation with power settings or something similar

When your trying to figure out a password the first thing you do is try no password and hit enter
