unable to load dvd on laptop bt4final

i can't load the dvd on my laptop, i checked the md5 that was the same.

my desktop can load the dvd but i want to install it on my laptop.

i can't use the usb install because that isn't supported

i inserted a install disk for windows 7 ultimate and that one can boot.


how to fix this?

How did you burn the ISO to the DVD? Did you set your bios to boot from DVD?

im also having trouble installing but for different reasons,my DVD drive is fudged and wont read the disc properly,it hangs at about 50% everytime i try to install,is there a way to install to HDD via a USB like in ubuntu etc,as i know a USB stick would work fine???
