Boot problem

Hello i try to boot BT2 from the cd, but it stops in the beginning in the "Boot\vmlinuz......"
I use auditor and backtrack 1 and i have only to use the acpi=off or the noacpi to start the Live CD, but in BT2 all the commands like acpi=off noacpi and nopcmcia dont work
Help me please

Is the problem machine Dual CPU/Core or HyperThreading?

I have been using BT2 no problems at all.

I have a DELL Latitude 610 using a netgear WG511T as recommended by someone on another forum.

I run directly from CD the boot process gets to the the USB device & then seems to hang.

As i said I have been running the previous version off a live CD i was intending to do the same.

Any Ideas ??
