Lightbulb conflict surfing after injecting with AWUS036H

    Hi,

I'm new to BT so please forgive me if I'm discovering hot water.
I noticed a lot of people having problems with connection stability using the AWUS036H with the rtl driver.

I do have a perfect connection, stable and lasting forever.
After using my setup in monitor mode and doing some injecting stuff it seems I loose all stability in my connection.
Weird thing is, if I would reactivate my on-board wifi, I still can't get a good connection... Basically I need a reset.

Turn the adapter off. Then try turning it back on.
If this fails then find out about removing the running driver from the kernel and the reinserting it, and trying again.

Yeah, that happened to me too. Oddly enough it was quite bad with my old real alfa, but the chinese clone does not have the problem (or to way lesser degree). It may have something to do with the chip heating up. Perhaps open the case, and get some air flowing across the chip (the RTL8187 chip), that one's the hottest.
