first ild just like to say hello to everyone...right thats over, so lets get on with it.
i have a netbook, samsung N130, i know the wireless card inside is pants, i have just ordered replacement "half size mini atheros ar9280" "apparently" the best to have due to the specs: dual-band 2.4/5.0Ghz 300mbps 802.11 a/b/g/n & also works straignt out the box..
back to my original question..
i have been playing with bt4 on my 8gig sony usb stick, i just plug it in & away it goes, i have looked into dual booting with my xp, but its not what im ready for as yet, so i have been thinking about getting a slave usb hdd & installing it straight to it, & just plugging it "changing boot priority in the bios in & using it as & when i want to..
would this work? or am i doing just that now with my memory stick?, but it auto starts once i plug it in the usb.
thanks, mike
Correct....
In your BIOS settings, you would see all the possibilities in which your live linux OS might be booted, whether it be HDD1,HDD2, CD, USB,Network etc and in what priority. In other words.. looking in your BIOS alone should answer question one and two and more.
Cheers
