I have installed BT2.0 final to hard disk (so that i could install my 3d nvidia drivers) and have set up a password for root.
Whilst playing around with initrd to set as init 4 it started X11 with the wallpaper i supplied.

I then proceeded to log in as root with my password and all went normal. Then i restarted my machine and was playing around in the init4 (i don't know the proper name) screen. I actually logged in as root without supplying a password! Just double click on the user name "root" with your mouse and see for yourself.

Is this a bug or is it jumping into another mode when not supplying the password?
