No one else having this issue? No ideas?
-BT4 R1
-Hardware:
-Dell DW1501-Linksys WUSB54G v.4-Software
WICD
After i start up BT4 R1 from a persistent USB install i can connect to my wifi just fine but after i disconnect i cant reconnect to the AP, it hangs at Obtaining IP and eventually fails. If i wanna connect again, i gotta restart.
Any ideas?, not sure if it exactly a bug or if its something on my end

I'm having the same issue with my HWUG1 which uses rt73usb. I have no clue where to begin to troubleshoot the issue.
Ive checked the BT forums as well as the WICD forums.
the WICD forums had loads of threads full of similar issues and they all had something in common,
There was no solution and all the threads are at least a year old. Many of the threads said it was a software issue, but im assuming it was taken care of.
And my wireless was flawless in BT4 now with R1 its just getting frustrating, kinda running out of ideas

I'm on a sat.pro L300 and have begun to have similar problems. At first I couldn't connect with my user account (running wicd sudo) so I logged-out and back into root. Things were fine until I shut down for the night. Next day root was having problems ( had made no updates, either). Came back into my user account and everything has been working great since then. (Except for airodump-ng. Can't get it to work but I think that's another thread.) I know I haven't given any solutions but maybe the feedback can help somehow.
I have similar issue with bt 4 r1
no connection to hidden AP (FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7112) with WPA2 CCMP:
* with wicd ("bad password")
* with wpa_supplicant (Authentication timed out)
by iwlagn and rt77usb (Intel 4965agn and ralink usb rt2573 cards)
surprisingly, if I change AP settings to unhidden, it connects with both methods but only for some seconds (or minute) and then
wlan0: deauthenticating by local choice (reason=3)
