Help with installation backtrack to Harddisk

Hello friends,
i am trying to install backtrack on my pc harddisk(pc and also virtuslbox). every time try to install it give an error. It is same error in backtrack 4 r1 and now in r2. I downloaded iso image file many time, and tried it on different pc including virtualbox and vmware, but same problem. please help me with this, i really need it to install on hard-drive..

[Error 5] input/output error

This is due to faulty cd/dvd or disk disk.............................................. .

................or hard disk is old,.............................................. ..............
..............................................need to move system to cooler enviromeent

Did you check the md5sum, did you burn dvd at low speed ?
Backtrack has a VBox/VMware version too you might want to try it.
