    Question HP Mini Wireless Chipset?

Hi, I'm probably going to buy a HP Mini (HP*Mini*110-1117CA). I was wondering if anyone has one and how well Backtrack works with it. Were there any compatibility issues, network card problems ect.
I believe the wireless chip is a 4312 Boadcom. Has anyone gotten it to work or does it not?

    Thanks in advance,

    Juf

Broadcom wireless will be limited as of now. Look for a notebook with a different wireless card, or think about replacing the existing one.

Hp likes to hardware lock the wifi cards. I tried swapping out the broadcom card in mine to the atheros one from my eeePc. Didn't like it one bit.

Perhaps try looking for something similar to this, for your specific model -
    Compiled HP/COMPAQ Mini 311 BIOS patches • MyHPMini.com
Your warranty would probably go kaput though.
