I wouldn't bother installing Backtrack on your Mac. Doubt you will use that more than OSX. I would just setup a virtual drive with BT4 Final setup on that, that way you can use your OSX desktop, and just load up BT4 when you need it.
My advice.
Or you can install bootcamp and google how to dual boot osx and linux on macx
macx being whatever mac machine you have.
