Default Intel4965 AGBN cannot inject on BT4 final?!

    Hi together,

i have a little problem. I use a Sattelite P200-10A Notebook with integrated Intel4965 ABGN Chipset.
    Packet Injection Test says:

    Code:
    root@bt:~# airmon-ng

    Interface Chipset Driver

    wlan0 Intel 4965/5xxx iwlagn - [phy0]

    root@bt:~#
    root@bt:~# iwconfig wlan0

On the Net i found a LOT of Tutorials to patch the driver.
All of them from 2006 / 2007.. nothing newer
And not only single one for ABGN chips.

Do anyone can help me to bring Backtrack 4 Final working with my hardware?

I used to have this chipset and man is it a pain. Luckily for you though derv82 has incorporated the workarounds for this chipset right into his GUI without any patches. Try his tool located in this thread:

    http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forum...a-cracker.html

If you don't want to use that for whatever reason, post back and I'll try harder to remember the work around.

I have a T61 with wireless card Intel 4965AGN card. I've never been able to get injection working with BT3, BT4 beta. I tried the tool above it did not work (injection failed, WPA_supplicant failed). Can anyone assist on some up-to-date instructions to get driver/firmware working with injection for this card?

    Thanks

    1. Update your system.

    2. "airdriver-ng compile 14"

3."modprobe iwl4965" <-- I am not sure if the modul name is right, when not follow the log file.
