Thanks.
hi there, just gave it a try and installed bt4 on my mac pro machine (2009), 16gig, works like charm, even recognizes sound. only problem is the VERY bad noise of the fans. they run at full speed all the time. is there actually any known WORKING mac energy software available which works on the mac pro?
regards,
joerg

It's supposed to auto adjust in Ubuntu. Might see if lm-sensors is installed. I usually just run BackTrack in a vm on Macs.
I run BT as a virtuam machine and it works on 10.5 and 10.6 using Fusion.
Dear Rudi and Daisy, I am very well aware of any reading abilties and i apologize if i hit the wrong forum but i thought THAT one would be better placed in the hcl area. Anyhow, i don´t want to run it with fusion/parallels because i would like to do benchmarks for an article. and the noise is very nasty. anyone an idea?
best regards,
Joerg
Well, now I´m flattered ;-)
...just kiddin,
