Capitalisation is important. It's the difference between "Helping your brother Jack off a horse" and "Helping your brother jack off a horse".

Hello,
i have same problem in bt4 r1 with my alfa AWUS036H usb and rt73usb
and same problem bt4 r1 installed in HDD partition in laptop toshiba x200 with intel iwlagn 4965/5100
here is what i get like error:
Code:root@bt:~# airmon-ng Interface Chipset Driver wlan0 RTL8187 rtl8187 - [phy0] mon0 RTL8187 rtl8187 - [phy0] root@bt:~# airodump-ng mon0 ioctl(SIOCSIFFLAGS) failed: Unknown error 132
I met the same problem;
I use vmware 7.1.2 + Bt4 rc1,
after i re-installed the wlan model, the problem seems to be solved.
1. ensure u are using the linux 2.6.x kernel.
2. download the rfkill tool.
Ubuntu -- 在 lucid *的 rfkill 软件包详细信息
here you can get it.
3. reload the wifi model after boot.
use lsmod|grep to find out your wifi model.
mine is rtl8187,
try below commands, problem may gone..
rmmod rtl8187
rfkill block all
rfkill unblock all
modprobe rtl8187
rfkill unblock all
ifconfig wlan0 up -- mine is wlan0
It seems to be a bug,
see the follow link..
