I'm using BenQ s42 to run Backtrack 4 (cd boot) OK but cannot type anything login or do anything
please help urgent

Then I cannot type any single worth , only can push Off button to logoff
Ok in your first post you are running BT4 then in the above you mention beta. Well generally it is common sense that if a final release is available that one would not take the beta. Especially if said beta is older.
We do not support it and you will need to upgrade to BT4 final since there are huge differences.

I have 3 Version of Backtrack , BT3 (Ori CD) BT4 beta(iso) and BT4 Final(iso)
all have a same problem,
I already try to ..
Start Back Track in high frame buffer. low frame buffer, safe graphical mode and also in text mode in menu
..... same cannot type anything....
before this I'm using Acer Aspire 4730z os win xp with BT3 -no problem
my present Laptop is BENQ Joybook S42 os Win7 with booth version same problem comeout " keyboard no function
is it my joybook S42 problem or my OS win7 home premium..... or you hane any idea

Wait a second how can you use BT with Windows?
Did I miss a memo?
And choosing different graphic options won't help you since it doesn't seem to be a graphics error.
Did you try to connect a different keyboard/mouse?
