Hi guys,
Newbie here. I have tried running (within backtrack3):
aireplay-ng -1 0 -e essid -a (my router mac) -h (my card MAC) eth1
and I seem to get all the time the below:
Attack was unsuccessful. Possible reasons:
* Perhaps MAC address filtering is enabled.
* Check that the BSSID (-a option) is correct.
* Try to change the number of packets (-o option).
* The driver/card doesn't support injection.
* This attack sometimes fails against some APs.
* The card is not on the same channel as the AP.
* You're too far from the AP. Get closer, or lower
the transmit rate.
I was told by the person who sold me this wifi card GSKY GS-27USB that it was compatible for packet injection.
Can anyone give me a hint as to what I might be doing wrong? i have looked in several forums and google but I cannot really find out if that card is (or not) compatible for packet injection.
Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.
Best regards
macutan
