Hey @ all,

I've been reading here for about 3 weeks now, this Forum is really awesome!!
I'm working on my final exam atm, my diploma thesis about network security.
Not wanting to go to much in deep; i make penetration tests in a large company
including wireless, bluetooth, gsm/umts.

BT3 is such a nice tool, and i've learned so much (new) in the last weeks.

I personally think that this 3 day waiting period is a great idea. Because when it comes down to it, the majority of new people who sign up are going to be asking newbie question regarding what went wrong with there isntallation or how come such and such wont work. So your confining those comments all those threads to the newbie area, where a portion of those new accounts will actually go through past threads of the newbie thread to see if there question was already asked.

Simply create a new thread in the newbie section with a suiting and descriptive topic and describe your problem in detail. Your first few posts will be queued until one of the moderators approves it, so there is no need to post multiple times when your post is not instantly visible on the forum.

OK mods or users
i have booted succsefully
i can see the back ground, start menu, system folder and everything

its a nice sysstem software.

but now i need help
ok i have a wireless card in my laptop 802.11a/b/g wireless card.
and the driver for it is. Broadcom,
but now i wana know is how do i use a wireless internet from backrack3
where do i go? or how do i get the screen where i see all the available internet list? im lost.

and one more question
i found out about this forum and backtrack from a CD i downloaded it was that FBI Web cracking CD.

and the instruction were that
burn the ISO of a FBI cd and boot from it.

so is backtrack 3 and FBI cd the same?

so please eeeeee eee someone answer my question

Since this is the only forum I can post in let me be the second (or fourth) to post something useful here.

These posts are many months old and most are just noise (close to SPAM).

Can a mod delete nearly all of these posts (this one too if you like) and just leave the first post, the first whine, and the first "quit yer whining" posts.

Our 'noob' time would be better spent reading the other Forums, even if we can't post there.

I have Bug Reports to file and working equipment (HCL:Wireless) to post but since I have fixed these bugs on my end, to the extent that I care to, I can wait the three days before letting anyone else know what they are.

Please do not use the "Report a Post" button just because you are waiting for a post to clear the moderation queue.

The "Report a Post" function is for reporting posts of dubious or questionable content, of either an ethical, legal or possibly offensive nature.

Abuse of this feature will not help your post to appear any quicker and will probably just start your account off with an instant infraction.......
