Bluetooth Usage On BT4 + Burning

1) I have tried the hciconfig command but nothing seem to be detected.
Any suggestions on how i can do it?

off the top of my head i would say no as the distro is mainly run as a live dvd and its kind of redundant unless you have two burners available. i think alot of utilities other than the most important would have been excluded to save space on the distro for other tools etc; as bt4 is ubuntu based you can still install your own apps (im assuming though you have installed bt4 to your hdd) or i think you will just have to move data to a USB or external HDD and then burn it later on..

Actually you can install Brasero, or K3b. Brasero is in the repo's but not sure if it works after the kernel upgrade (didn't test it).
K3b you have to manually download and install from the internet.

Another quick way to install brasero, if add the ubuntu repos to BT, install brasero AND ONLY brasero, don't upgrade or anything, than remove ubuntu repos.

Actually I dont want to burn discs, I only want to extract ISO images. Any suggestions?

Make sure mount point exists.

While I am still trying to figure out how to get the bluetooth to work myself. If it is any consolation, when I type in "hciconfig -a" or "hciconfig hcl0 up" it returns with "Can't get device info: No such device." So my hope is that your is actually working to some extent. I know my bluetooth works, as it works fine in windows. I haven't messed with it at all as I can't even get past that part, and I haven't found a dongle that works yet. So hopefully someone else can give you a better answer, just wanted to give you some hope as your return message seems to be a whole lot better than the message I see. Also if you get it working properly, let me know what dongle you got, because I'm getting tired of getting unlucky.

I have had mixed results with the bluetooth scene with backtrack, I did not however, have any problems in getting bluetooth dongles to work with scanning etc.

If i was thinkin` out loud i would say OP needs to load modules manually. If one have a built in or plugged-in on boot, kernel will load for him but in case where hotplugged manual job will be required...

E10i is my XPERIA X10 Mini. It worked but I not sure about how to transfer files using command line.
