Tape what program works better for decrypting pcaps, airdecap or wireshark? wireshark does have a little bit more overhead than a command line tool.
Personally i'd rather process pcap files in my leisure rather than on the fly

Thanks for pointing it out, I forgot to mention it.

@gunrunr: I didn't knew that wireshark could also decrypt packets. I have to look into that, it would open other possibilities beyond the method I mentioned earlier.

Would be interesting to try out though to compare results..

Hello all, i want to know if i can sniff PPPoe usernames and passwords with passive sniffing and if it is transmitted in a plain text and to specify some filters to use in ettercap... and Thx for your posts! hope you reply!!
