BT2 freezes.

Maybe somebody can help me?
Backtrack 2 freezes randomly on my Amilo m1425 notebook.
There are no errors, no messages, just everything freeze. No buttons are working, but Led on PCMCIA Card keep blinking.
After I have installed BT2 on HD these freezes occurs much more often, mayby 5 min after start(I just starts airepaly .
I don't think my notebook is overheated, because I had used other LiveCD without freezes for much longer time.

I'm not so familiar with Linux, so I can't You more detailed info, but I'll try to do my best.

Did you manage to find out your pblm ?

I have a similar one here :

trying to run BT2 Live.
It boots,
I log in succesfully,
I run xconf succesfully,
I start xwin succesfully,
I get inside the KDE.
Nothing strange so far.
Mouse works.

Then when I click on anything, ie start a shell, the system freezes
completly.

Sorry to bring back an old post, but I am also experiencing freezing / locking up.

I have an IBM T42 Thinkpad with an ATI FireGL video card.

I was experiencing the lockup from an fresh install and after I ran xconf with the the resolution of 1600x1200 (my native resolution).

Was there a fix / know problem you were going to suggestion to elazar?
