To "sniff" live text you'd need to install a keylogger on the remote machine.
All is in the title,
I am new on the forum, but i've already used backtrack
I tried Ettercap / wireshark / wifizoo / spoonWEP/WPA / Aircrack etc ...
And i would to know, if someone knows a text sniffer, or knows howto. i'd be happy to learn that.
I can already listen to a call with a CiBi, but now i'm looking for a way to sniff msg texts
Idk if a wireless card can do that, i know the cell phones frequencies are lower than wireless ones
Thanx for you help, i hope i was clear enough ^^

If that is possible, then let me know as well. Sounds like an ambitious project.
There was something about this on the BBC programme Watchdog (i think) a while back, cant remember if the blokes were receiving text messages but they could send them to you your phone as if they were from your bank (it would even add to the bottom of an old bank message as if it was from them!)
Thing is im 99% certain they were using BT4 from the very limited screen shots they showed.
Might be worth a look on the BBC iplayer, it wont tell you how to do it but you might be able see what they were using os/system wise.
Sorry if that didnt help at all
@Snayler : that's exactly what i want to
@christ044 : that helped cuz now i know it's maybe not impossible![]()
