BT2 Final HDD install problems
1st let me say Thanks and a nice job on BT2 Final..............
Im no expert but i have setup and ran BT2 Beta with no problems...
BT2 Final backtrack installer shows no info in source. i have tried ..
/boot
/dev/hda_cdrom
/dev/live
Blank
after its gone through the complete setup and i reboot i get nothing..is this just a live cd or have i got the wrong info in source?

Problem fixed
after cleaning and re formatting the ex2 i left the source blank and install went through no problems.......

anyway found what the problem was. i was installing on a partition that had ubuntu installed. and as i found out by reinstalling bt2 like three times in a row it doesnt format anything it just replaced files if they had the same name and anything else was kept.
so i had a pretty ****ed up partition. np formated reinstalled and it's rocking
I can only use KDE (startx) if I do not run xconf before. When I do run xconf it gives me a error message or the screen stays black, it depends if I am using a live-cd or hdd install.
hmmm i have the same problems.. i trying to reset the MBR of the hardisk but still the same..
