First time I've seen such things. Very futuristic man. Wtf are they?
I thought HTC's were cellphones with tiny keyboards and screens

Wait a minute are these things tiny but just zoomed right up?

This should give you a pretty good rundown of what they are. I'm running a distro called pdaXrom, which is a more "real laptop" linux distro than the original sharp distro, which is more pda oriented. There was one called openzaurus, which has morphed into Angstrom which is what swc666 is running on his phone. I'm not partial to Angstrom, cause like I said earlier, the devs can be dicks, and it's a pain in the ass to compile stuff. I've had three different Z's so far. My first one was the SL-6000L, which is not a clamshell like all the other z's. It has a 4" display and a qwerty thumb keyboard under a slide down cover on the bottom. I sold it to get one of the new (at the time) Axim x51v. After a week I returned it and got a SLC-3100, which is the clamshell with a 4Gb microdrive inside. It's also a usb host device, so with the right mini-a usb adapter and a powered usb hub for power hungry devices you can plug in pretty much anything that's linux compatible and use it. A few months ago I traded my Nokia n800 for a SLC-3200 which was the last linux based Zaurus Sharp made. It's identical to the 3100 but has a white case and a 6Gb microdrive.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69

Although it has nothing to do with BT3, i was just wondering...did anyone had any success with Edimax EW7318USG (or similar rt73 based adapter) and packet injection on Zaurus Akita/Spitz ?

I mean, i got the adapter working on Akita (Angstrom, 2.6.23 kernel ) via powered USB hub and Larbig's rt73 drivers, and it works perfectly in managed mode.Kismet and airodump-ng are also working flawlessly in monitor mode, but when it comes to injection - zero
