    Default BT4 lacks TRIM-support

About TRIM: TRIM - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Support was introduced in the 2.6.33 kernel. Without TRIM, none will want to run BT4 on his/hers SSD drive. Right now I have to run it from a pendrive and it's so slow that I want to tear my hair out.

Not a bug. Not sure if it is even a tool request but this section seems a bit more appropriate.

    Wrong.

I run BT4 from ssd, sd card and standard pendrives and it's lightning fast.

    Try harder.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.

You need a better thumb drive then. I run it from sd cards and it runs fine.

Why does it seem like the above quote is coming from a 12 year old talking about who's a better Transformer?

Actually its the "Wrong." statement. It just comes off as prissy. I know plenty of people that English isn't their first language that don't speak like that.

We might then propose a new language usage and style sub-forum Barry.

    LOL
Prissy maybe, I would lean more toward arrogant or snotty.

    To the op ////

I didn't mean to sound arrogant in my first comment. It's a language issue. Let me rephrase it:

Your statement about BT4 running slow on SSD w/o TRIM isn't correct. Many of us use it that way and it runs just fine.

    See, that's much better.
