Default BT2 - pre-release and my slax creator

Has anyone been successful using myslax creator and BT2 - pre-release? I just downloaded BT2PR and when i attempt to mount the iso I get the error

"bt2-pre-release.iso doesnt seem to be a SLAX ISO image or one of his derivatives!"

Any one have any luck? Thanks.

    @tparnet

MySlax does not work with the pre-release!

Just go to the link I have posted above (http://backtrack.offensive-security....itle=Main_Page) and have a look in the Changelog - Easy USB installation guide - that may help you...

I am writing this under BT2-pre running from my USB-stick...

    zikarus,

Thanks for the help! Responding now with BT2-pre-release running from thumb drive. First thing that I noticed was that under all other versions BT recognized my on board NIC as eth1 and my wireless nic as eth0. This version reverses and my NIC is now eth0. No big deal. More tests to follow. Thanks again.

    Default BT2 - pre-release rt2500 Problem

With BT2-beta, my rt2500 builtin wireless works 100% both from the CD and HDD install.

With the BT2 - pre-release CD, while doing iwconfig setup, I cannot get past:
"ifconfig ra0 staticIDnr broadcast broadcastnr netmask netmasknr up"
    It always returns:
    "SIOCCIFLAFS: Device or resource busy"

    Am I doing something wrong?
Has something changed regarding rt2500 & the new kernel?
    Is there a bug?
    Is there a workaround?
    Anyone else having a problem?

I hope this can be fixed prior to the final release.

    Looking forward to it!
