    Default Wardrive with garmin

    Hi,
    I have used GPSmap 60CSx for a not long time. Till now, I used Vistumbler on Vista and there were no problems with drivers. Now I'm begginer in BackTrack and I need any help how to prepare cooperation between Kismet and GPSmap 60CSx.

    ik - edit the kismet.conf file (/usr/etc/kismet.conf). I use a USB GPS puck and I understand that the GPSmap 60CSx is a serial device so you will have to adjust the "gpsdevice=<>" line in the following, but this is how I have my kismet.conf set-up for GPS:

    Code:
    #Do we have a GPS?
    gps=true
    gpstype=gpsd
    gpsdevice=/dev/ttyUSB0
    gpshost=localhost:2947
    gpsmodelock=false
    gpsreconnect=true

    Also before staring Kismet, you may have to start gpsd as well
    Code:
    gpsd /dev/ttyUSB0

    Oh yeah, I forgot the start-up command before firing up Kismet. I use:

    Code:
    gpsd -N -n -D 3 /dev/ttyUSB0
    Thanks for the catch TAPE.

    hello, everybody

    I am using gpsd to do wardriving. I am having problems to conect my tom tom one (not bluetooh) through usb port. Althoug i conect the gps to the usb port, and click yes on the tom tom to conect whit the computer, and check whit usbview and lsusb that it is conected,

    gpsd /dev/tts/USB0
    telnet localhost 2947

    After this if you type r, you must receive the gps signal but any signal is received.

    Start kismet and show that gps is not conected

    Can anybody help me?

    Thank you so much
