I think this is more of a Ubuntu question than a BT one. It sounds like you're missing the kernel headers, so trywhich should fix that.Code:sudo apt-get install linux-headers-`uname -r`

Hello
I am struggling installing virtual box on bt4 after checking nano /var/log/vbox-install.log below is the error message that is showing and I don't know what it means.
Error: unable to find the sources of your current Linux kernel. Specify KERN_DIR=<directory> and run Make again.
If someone could provide any help I would be most grateful
Thanks

Thanks well have tried this
and this is what it tells meCode:sudo apt-get install linux-headers-`uname -r`So i tried this tooCode:E: Couldn't find package linux-headers-2.6.30.9and still nothingCode:apt-cache search linux-headers
I also have tried thisbut again nothing all this tells me is that the build essential is at the newest version.Code:apt-get install build-essential
So i am still not sure what the original error message is asking me, or why virtualbox wont install correctly.
This has been cleared before. Take the .deb file from the official site and just install it.
