So
I'm going to buy the Dlink DWL G650 C3 card.
When I put this in my laptop...boot the 1.0 backtrack final version everything is working directly?
So no actions required?
Thanks
thinking about getting the Netgear wireless USB Adapter (WG111T)...
Pros -
Cons -
and, because the WG111T is USB 2.0, will it work well if my laptop has a USB 1.1 hub?

I've ordered a Z-Com XI-325HP+ 300mW - Card a few days ago.
What I'd like to know now, is it possible to inject and sniff at the same time with it? Haven't found anything with the search function, maybe someone could help me![]()
I just bought a new dell m1210 and I found out that they no longer have a PCMCIA slot for my ubiquity 300mw card. What exactly is the best usb wireless adapter out there for simple plug and play for BT with injection?? Most of the ones i see on this forum, you need a specific version to get it to work, is there one that i can just simple go to the store and pickup without worry what version it is??
Thank You
Hi Guys,
Got a question, i installed backtrack on my laptop, and the onboard wireless network card works fine, but it is a only 11b.
I also use an pcmcia Gigabyte Wireless LAN Card GN-WMKG, but this card isdn't detected when looking in the control panel.
You guys have any suggestions, or you know that this card just wont work?
Tnx.

I use a Cisco AiroNet CB21AG. An A/B/G Cardbus Adapter.
It seems to have an Atheros Chip. But Airmon states "monitor Mode" not possible. Is there any way I can make this thing work? I am VERY new to Linux and BT. Do I need another driver? Can someone post a Tutorial how to apply this?
I was trying this in BT2, BT1, Whax, Slax - nothing worked.
@ Re@lity:
You're saying this card is quite a good one. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Deejayk
