Cant install Backtrack 4

okay so my problem is pretty easy to describe.
When i boot the live cd and try to install it to the harddrive it wont list it.
I checked with gparted and it wont list it neither, however i can access the harddrive in konqueror.

Any idea as to why i cant install it?

"it wont list it." What? I mean it might be easy for you to describe but I am not so sure if we understand what you are saying.
If you mean the HDD is not mounted then you need to mount it using the mount command.
If you are using konqueror then after opening it hit the refresh key at the top and then you should see them.
Otherwise you will need to be a bit more specific.

I think he wants to say that when he runs "install.sh" and after loads up the partitioner there is no drive/partition there.
