check what the file is being saved as in the other console screens. I got confused by this too and it turned out that the .cap file was being saved as something completely different lol![]()
when i try to aircrack-ng -f 4 -m 00:11:22:33:44:55 -n 64 capture.cap it says that capture.cap cant be found

Are you running that command from the folder with capture.cap in it?
If not, that's your problem.

it doesn't look like your wifi adapter is called ath0. try wlan0
