So for the record, I DID spend about an hour searching google/these forums for a solution, but to no avail.

I'm following this tutorial, and each time I get to the packet injection part (aireplay-ng -5 -b ...) it'll show:

not enough acks, repeating
trying a LLC NULL packet
sending a fragmented packet
got a deauthentication packet!

(5 second pause)

not enough acks, repeating
trying a LLC NULL packet
sending a fragmented packet
got a deauthentication packet!

and it'll loop like this indefinitely. I read that 'not enough acks' is typically caused by being too close or too far from an access point, but I tried it while walking around from ten feet away to the other end of the house (about 100ft), as well as with other access points (signal strength ranges from around -30 to -60), but none worked.

I'm using an Alfa Awus 036h, so I'm pretty certain it's compatible. I didn't do anything to set it up other than plug in it and boot the computer.

Anybody know anything about this?
