Default Can someone check if i properly change my hostname and host or if i did it properly

I finally change my hostname after so many search online and forums. what i did was type nano /etc/hostname, change the "bt" to "GT", press ctrl+O to save the changes then reboot now i have GT. After that i also change the hosts "backtrack bt" to GT by typing nano /etc/hosts, change the "backtrack bt" to GT. So did i do right?
