ettercap is the best sniffer whatever I have ever used.
but I have a question how kill UDP connection. it's very simple to kill TCP when you're spoofing arp . but as you know UDP is very fast connection protocol and it is used by net-games. and I want to block all trafic.
can someone explain how it will be done?

I was successful. Thanks a lot for the tutorial.. I am curious however on how to perform this scan out side the network on a non-routable IP. Is there a way to do this?

I am wanting to know this--> I have another computer at folks' house that is not in my same network at the house I am at right now. I have been able to sniff the network I am on which is 10.10.x.x.. What I want to do is sniff my computer with a WAN IP such as 12.214.x.x.. I hope this helps you with what I mean..

Well, now that was just ignorant to say. Tell me please. I am not using wireless only wired. How am I going to get my neighbors IP address? That would be an amazing accomplishment to pinpoint. Don't you think? All I am trying to do is understand how it works. I want to know just how amazing this program really is. BTW, I do understand everyones concern as to not encouraging people to break the law. But you shouldn't just come out and tell people that they are criminals or that they are attempting to break the law when they just want to learn.. Thank you to anyone that takes the time to read my previous post and can help a student become the teacher.
