Question How to restore the original theme?

    Hi,

I don't know what exactly happened but after i rebooted BT4 the there changed to something else.I don't remember changing anything.I restored the desktop but the problem remains with everything else like the taskbar.Even firfox is now different (the start page is different and the Noscript addon is gone!).

Here is a look to my problem:

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Is there anyway to restore everything to how it was at first?Other than Reinstalling? It would be troublesome for me to reinstall everything.

    Regards,

did you find a solution to your issue
    i'm having the same problem
    not sure what happened also
i was doing an apt-get update and a power outage happened

then when the power came back i booted bt4 and i'm seeing a new theme,
Firefox opens the Ubuntu page with no fav shortcuts to bt or offsec..etc

and the back button also stopped working on Firefox

is there a command to restore the default?

The fastest way to solve this issue is a fresh reinstall.

It's not a lack of experts per se, it's a lack of you describing what exactly you were doing when this change occurred. It would also help if you would detail the actions you have taken to correct the issue. Failing that re-installing would be a matter of minutes and I consider it good practice.

What's so bad about reinstalling? I had to do it the other day, it only takes 10 minutes. Fixed all my problems too
