Have you ran iwconfig to see if any interfaces have wireless extentions?
new to backtrack, can not find wireless connections
sooo im new to backtrack, im using 4 in vmware and i am unable to figure out why it is not working, im sure the answer is somewhere in this forum but i cant find the answer.. thanks alot!!

Did you activated the USB modules on VMware. Do you also have a USB wifi card to use with the virtual machine? If not you need one to run wifi on the VM.
