redundant question..LAN image sniffing

The other day i was looking for some info and came across a description of a program that sniffs
and will display the images that come across the adapter, it made a little box on the bottom left hand
corner and popped up the images..
I cant find my web history that said what it was, i think it was like image-ng or something, i cant find it
in the application list..wtf is this program called
