    Default Sony Vaio VPCEE2M1E

    Sony Vaio VPCEE2M1E
For details on the machine see:
    VPCEE2M1E/WI (VPCEE2M1E/WI) : Technical Specifications : VAIO and Computing : Sony

BT4 R1 unetbootin USB stick all modes work.
There is no mouse by default to fix at boot time tab on one of the boot modes
and add i8042.nopnp (emphasis added) to the end of the kernel boot parameters. Make sure to leave a space before whatever is already there.
    Then hit enter.
Other variants and ways to accomplish the same thing for HDD and or persistent installs

Wow, Sony is almost as proprietary as Apple when it comes to their equipment. I do like their UMPCs though.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69

Honestly I don't care much for this machine.
    Nor Sony in general.
