BT4 R1 unetbootin USB stick all modes work.
There is no mouse by default to fix at boot time tab on one of the boot modes
and add i8042.nopnp (emphasis added) to the end of the kernel boot parameters. Make sure to leave a space before whatever is already there.
Then hit enter.
Other variants and ways to accomplish the same thing for HDD and or persistent installs

Wow, Sony is almost as proprietary as Apple when it comes to their equipment. I do like their UMPCs though.

Nor Sony in general.
