Now I've tried in the BT4 r1 HP Pavilion DV4-2040br following specification:

    i3-330M core (2.13 Ghz 3MB of cache)
    4GB of DDR3 RAM (1066 Mhz)
500GB SATA hard drive - 7,200 RPM, 2.5-inch form factor, 9.5mm thick - With mounting bracket
8X DVD ± RW Super Multi Double Layer (DL) optical drive - With LightScribe, 12.7mm form factor Serial ATA
HD BrightView widescreen 14.1-inch WXGA TFT - display panel With web camera and microphone
    with ATI Mobility Radeon 4550
Finger print reader circuit board (2.0)
HP Mobile ExpressCard slot style remote control (Mwave)
    Bluetooth module SB
    Intel 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN MiniCard HMC
    Broadcom 4312G 802.11b / g / n WLAN module

The wireless network displays active connections but I could not connect because I do not know the command via shell and as it is without coming at the graphics ... But what I really want to work is a graphical interface that ATI Mobility Radeon 4550. I tried installing the ati-driver but was unsuccessful.
Ps: What is the command line to connect to wifi networks: P?

    Please excuse my noobishness.

    Acer AspireOne D260:
-Neither wifi or lan are usable/recognized.
-Intel graphics are recognized, transparency works.

I apologize, but I can't find any information on what type of hardware it is, though I'm fairly sure it's an atheros lan and wifi deal, because the atheros drivers seem to work under Windoze.

I can run any diag. tools you would like from live USB, but I'm about to replace R1 with 4 Final.
