I have updated my kernel with the one from the dev repo... I am using hp mini note 2133 with broadcom 4312 rev 15. monitoring and injections works fine, but I would get SIOCFFLAGS unknown error 132 whenever I tried to start vlc while on monitor mode when I log out and restart the X server my screen would be off sync... display comes back to normal after reboot.. Tried installing kdm-kde3 but the login manager would not display I'm only getting a black screen so decided to uninstall kdm-kde3...

Sony Vaio VPC EB12FX

I decided to give BT4 R1 a go after several tries of updating my kernel so my Marvell gigabyte nic would work.

It was a good choice, it works out the box

Wifi, WEP WPA1/2, monitor mode, injection, works flawlessly as far as I tried.

Weirdly enough R1 actually works faster..

Broadcom B43 wireless (HP 6715b laptop) does NOT work by default, /lib/firmware-2.6.34-rc6/ is missing the b43 folder. Copied it from the older kernel folder, rmmod, modprobe b43, works fine.

update I replaced vlc with kaffeine and now b43 now doesn't crash on me whenever I start kaffeine maybe it's one of vlc's dependecies??

i think ath9k works fine,

airbase-ng is broken with the latest stable iw, it will only work with the git version of iw, but then it will print incorect output with airodump-ng
possibly need to fix nl80211.h?

net code for 2.6.35 (cfg80211) has a monitor fix channel issue, so we need wait for patch from Johannes

After I downloaded the firmware from Ralink corp.
Edimax USB works in monitor and packet injection. Please note I haven't tried to capture a WEP or WPA key yet.
