Posting this here due to lack of a general or website related forum.
Attempting to search the forums (as suggested) for resolving an issue I am having, I get many results, about a fourth of these results end up providing me a 404 page and a picture of a cheese burger Kitty Cat ( http://www.backtrack-linux.org/6d371...4af14e5c07.jpg ).
That's not too uncommon, the issue is that when I see this Kitty Cat, my IP appears to be blocked from the website for an ~15 minutes as I have tested this on five different sources, each time just trying to find the resolution to my problem.
This in itself makes it nearly impossible for me to find a resolution in an easy manner.
For me, this is a perfect example of a TSA pat down, security believed to be in place that harms the customers and is believed to barley provide real security. That's my perspective from a customer, I understand I can not say how badly this page gets assaulted.
This means there's either a problem with the forums that may need resolved or perhaps I can push the suggestion of a slightly more relaxed system. Otherwise, I fear that if I just make a thread for every issue I have I will get the generic " YOU SHOULD HAVE SEARCHED FIRST!!!!oneonelven ".
If needed I will attempt to find the exact URL examples from the searches that are providing the 404 Kitty Cats however the process may take some time for obvious reasons.
We will look into this.

Look's like 4Chan ?
I thank you for your quick response.
I believe the issue with the forums providing 404 has to do with the links including large 'highlights'.
For example:
http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forum...ional+features
Provides a 404 for me while:
http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forum...-fs-error.html
Does not provide a 404
Again thanks for bringing this up. I have passed this along to the appropriate persons.
In the mean time I would suggest that everyone use google to search. It's generally better than the built in search feature any how.

Friendless it seems that your first example containing an apostrophe is causing the 404. I suspect there is some security mechanism in place that incorrectly treats that as an attempted SQLi and blocks it. If you highlight words without apostrophes then it works fine.

I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.
I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.
