Thanks for your experience .....
Do you know if it could work well (injection) with the USB Dlink DWL G122 ver.C1 and BT4F live CD?
It have the original 2570 inside now rt73.
I bought the Alfa awus050nh usb wireless adapter a couple of days ago and after extensive searching on this site and google, I eventually used the following tutorial to get it working with injection in BT4F.
NOTE: Ralink RT2870_Firmware is now v22 not v8 as in the tutorialCode:http://sudonetworks.com/wiki/index.php?title=ALFA_AWUS050NH_Driver_Update_for_BT4
It seems to be working well. I hope this helps others who are/were in the same boat.
Cheers to the tut author and all the little contributing posters on the many threads I read.

dumb question here but i'm going to ask anyways. If you did indeed search on this forum about info regarding the alfa usb wifi nics, why didn't you get the Alfa AWUS036H instead. It works nativly with bt4 and injects awesomely.

To be honest im not exactly sure why i ordered this model, i think i saw a thread somewhere with people saying it worked well or what not possibly? or maybe that was the model that came up when i was browsing for my new toy so i grabbed it.
Either way why should ease of use be a deciding factor in a product? i have no problem spending some extra time getting a piece of hardware to work and getting it to work is no problem at all.
The problem is a piece of the solution is missing and i am just looking for someone to help me locate or provide it.
Thanks in advance to anyone who actually helps
