    Default Dual Monitor Breaks Xorg

I have an Asus Laptop with a 19" External Monitor. When i use the little utility in the taskbar (I cant remember what its called) to "Configure Monitor" and select "Second screen" X will not restart. I do
    Code:
    Ctrl+Alt+Backspace
    and then
    Code:
    startx
X says something like "Cannot find screen".

Not sure if this is a big issue or just me. (Maybe I'm doing something wrong?)

While taking the time out of your life to register and make a post, it would seem you would have also taken time to include pertinent information with your post.
Sentences such as "I cant remember what its called" don't really help us to help you. Try being more detailed.

Sorry I was not booted into backtrack when I made the post.

The tool is default to backtrack: "Resize and Rotate 0.5". (Little blue square with a white arrow through the middle in the icon tray.)

Hello, You could try connecting the monitor , then boot-up the laptop once the bootup gets to the part where you have to type startx type dexconf and then type startx this should help.
