IRC/live chat room for backtrack?

I see backtrack4 has a taskbar icon for XChat IRC. Is there a live chatroom/IRC thing specifically for backtrack users?

Yes, unfortunately the default settings on the live image don't point you there automatically.

You want to use freenode, and the channel is #backtrack-linux. You should also familiarize yourself with the rules too.

and in this well named community page , you would have find the link to irc server and channel for support

And please do not tell the moderators how to do their job. It is against the rules you agreed to uphold and follow. Not to mention you agreed to search before making a post. If you have a problem with the forum staff then take it up with them or another staff member in private or by using the "report this post" button on the lower left hand corner of each post or posts in question.
Not hard to figure out how to use a search engine and type irc backtrack into it and click a button to receive the results.
This is your only warning on the subject of the rules.
