    Default Problem with Apache http server

    Hi,

    I'm having some serious issues with the Apache http server.

    The apache daemon is started but it seem not to be listening correctly, as I can't visit my own site even via localhost.
    If I start from Backtrack Menu - Services - HTTPD, I get "Apache server started Document root is @ /var/www/".
    But a netstat grab doesn't display anything about port 80.

    Backtrack and SET browser servers DOES work.

    Anyway to fix?

    Start the server and then connect to it from another pc. then issue the following command for a list of established connections.
    netstat -an | grep ESTABLISHED | awk '{print $5}' | awk -F: '{print $1}' | sort | uniq -c | awk '{ printf("%s\t%s\t",$2,$1) ; for (i = 0; i < $1; i++) {printf("*")}; print "" }'

    What should I look for?

    Anyway, if I try to start over a console with "/etc/init.d/apache2 start" I get this error message:
    "Starting web server: apache2apache2: Syntax error on line 281 of /etc/apache2/apache2.conf: Could not open configuration file /etc/apache2/site-enabled/800-xplico: No such file or directory"

    I just get the error message "Failed to connect Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at...."
