Ehlo, i'm on a big question...how can I install GNOME (with or without KDE3) and keep with the 'Backtrack' menu.
My machine isn't the best one, so KDE runs slowly. The GNOME interface runs a thounsand ways better than KDE, but when I install it and reset the graphical system (crtl+alt+backspace) and enter in GNOME interface, the menu Backtrack just disappears
Anyone had a solution to this question?

exist some list of menu from backtrack menu?
Its actually really easy to install ubuntu and add BT4 repos to it and install all tools. then you will have gnome and BT4 tools.
Clearly you do not use a lot of the tools in backtrack because I can think of about 30 right now that would not work on ubuntu
I use mostly aircrack-ng, wireshatk, ettercap, arpspoof, etc tools. Yes there is a few tools that I was not able to install ti ubuntu. What are those tools.
Of course I have also BT4 on my laptop, so when I really need those tools I can just boot to bt4.
1. Install Ubuntu
You are now Kool Hakkr 2000
