I have been creating a airolib-ng database and noticed while creating one that I get on average 77 pmk's per sec. where if i take word list and put it threw aircrack-ng directly I average around 250 pmk's
and what i can't understand is why is it so much slower for creating the database rather then just putting threw aircrack-ng any ideas as to why this might be?

I think I have it figured out and please some one correct me if I am wrong. Aircrack-ng is faster and computing PMK's because it is designed parallel process and works on four PMK's at a time rather then the just one that airolib-ng is limited to. Airolib-ng is limited because there can only be one process writing to the DB at one time where aircrack-ng discards the pass phrase if it does not match.
