Is the development team working on a new kernel for backtrack?
We definatly need to push a new testing kernel for backtrack.
The main reason is for Wireless.
In the new kernel version there is more injection support for more drivers, especially the new Alfa cards
we should build the latest wireless-next-2.6 drivers on the 2.6.34-rc5 kernel
and patch it with this patch:
http://patches.aircrack-ng.org/mac80...radiotap.patch
well this new kernel comes with a few deps
-CRDA
-wireless-regdb
Then we need to update these as well:
-latest version of iw
-latest version of wpa_supplicant
also I think we will need the latest version of GCC (4.5) to compile the kernel
what you guys think?

i want to help
it seems there are so many packeges that are outdated
If you cant wait you can always compile a new kernel at your own.
Me and my brother(FlamingTrojan) have BT4 with kernel 2.6.33.3
