Default BT4 Root Partition is Read-Only

There is a howto in the beta section of the old forums: BT4 Encrypted HDD install using LUKS and LVM - Remote Exploit Forums that I was following.

Save for a few snags, everything pretty much worked out fine, however my root partition is read-only when I boot in. Another member on that thread posted about the same issue but it was never resolved. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I could fix this?

I didn't look but you might want to try one of the more updated ones from here.
HowTo | BackTrack Linux - Penetration Testing Distribution
There is a guide and a video on the subject. Also if you just want an encrypted container for whatever with out having the actual OS encrypted I did a guide on the subject in the tutorial section here.

EDIT: there are several pages to the link you left. Please make reference to which post or posts you mean.
That way we don't necessarily have to read the whole thing.

Switching the way a partition mounts is normally a fstab issue
