bt4 got no gui on my laptop?

hi,i have a problem with backtrack 4..when i booted from dvd,the only thing i got was command line..why not in graphical view?i typed startx on the command,and got black screen..my laptop is asus k50in with nvidia geforce g102m cuba 512mb..i have tried on other laptops but still got black screen..help me

Probably needs the right drivers. There's a how to around here for that.

install the drivers for your NVIDIA card from there website.

Or you could just revert to the VGA drivers. Edit the /etc/Xorg.conf file appropriately.

Try

apt-get install nvidia-drivers

That should install any drivers you need.

how to install drivers into backtrack 4?,because i havent installed backtrack 4 in my hard drive yet.i just booted using livecd and got black..what should i do?

i have succesfull install bt 4..but i got little confused here,when i used aircrack..the key had found,100% decrypted..But it kinda weird there because,the password looked like this.[00:22:3T:2A:35:6A]...Are this the real password and can be used or something else that i am missing..
