Ralink 2560 PCI rt2500 help

okay i searched on the forums for help with this card but all lead to dead ends anyway i have a
Ralink 2560 PCI
and its driver is
rt2500

monitor mode works
but injecting doesent seem to work when i try

aireplay-ng -9 ra0
Trying to broadcast probe requests...
No Answer
Found 0 Aps

Evan tho i know mine is 2 feet away so would someone please help also should i just buy a new Wifi card ?

only my on board WIFI card seems to work for injection

This sounds like the 2560 PCI device you are referring to is actually hanging on the end of a USB cable?
Right? No?

That's USB in the real world that's preventing you from doing what should be, theoretically possible.
But I'm a noob.

May I ask what card (brand and model) you're using?
I'm asking because airmon was also telling me my pci card had a rt2560 chipset, but it wasn't correct.
I even took my card out to check, it was an RT2860T which currently doesn't support injection.
But anyway, you should get the latest compat-wireless drivers, then injection might work.
Have a look here how to install these drivers if you don't know how to do it:

obviously you need to look up what driver your card really needs, and install the correct one, or you can just install the whole compat-wireless package.

Lucifer - its built into my laptop which is a Acer aspire 5536 2009 version

You should be able to get the RT2870 drivers from the danets site

I use one of their antenna's has great range but the default drivers dont support injection (same drivers you described), the 2870 does.
